What is an Appliance?
An appliance is a server with all the software necessary to run RTIME pre-installed.
The QAVantage Appliance is pre-configured with a Windows Server Operating System, SQL database server, Business Object's Crystal XI reporting capabilities, a web server and the RTIME software.
Once plugged into your own network, users connect to this server to access all data and documentation centralized and managed under RTIME.

What are the benefits of an Appliance?
When you purchase RTIME, you will not be required to purchase any other hardware or software (ie: Database, web server, etc.). And, installation is as simply as plugging the Appliance into your network.
There is no software installation, no configuration and no IT support required to get up and running.

Additional Technical Specifications
The appliance includes 2 GB of RAM, 80 GBS of disk space and can easily handle over 200 users. Redundant configurations are available and recommended for backup and recovery and fail-over.
